Our House Rules

1. Safe Spaces

Our intent with Warm Company is implicit in its name: to create a space that is free of threat and violence and where free expression feels safe— as long as it's done with respect and consideration.

Zero Tolerance

There is absolutely no room for any form of unfair treatment or arbitrary distinction based on a person's race, sex, religion, nationality, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, ability, age, language, social class, or other status. There is NO TOLERANCE for any form of harassment or predatory behaviour. If this comes as a surprise, then our community isn’t for you.

Consent Is Mandatory

The term consent means to permit, approve, agree, comply, or yield. It often puts the requester in an active position and the consenter in a passive position. While this is the bare minimum for ethical intimate negotiation, in practice, establishing these kinds of connections is a complex social dance that requires equal mutual participation. Pay attention to unspoken cues. Do not be pushy or insistent.

We Keep Each Other Safe

If something does not seem right, do speak up. Check in with the people around you and reach out to our awareness team. When in doubt, ask for clarity. And most importantly, create a safe space for others to genuinely express their needs and desires.

2. Loud Spaces

The dance floor is the beating, pulsing heart of the party. A shared space to get lost in the moment and connect with yourself or with others through movement.

Dancefloor Is For Dancing

It can’t get more straightforward than this. Protect the sanctity of the dance floor as a place to show love and appreciation for the performing artist, for music, and for the joy of dancing with your community. Feel like chatting? We love that! Meet each other in the social spaces.

No Phones On The Dancefloor

Need to check your phone? We ask you to keep this to a minimum or, better yet, just don’t. Because, yes, we can see that garish blue glare lighting up your face, and yes, the artist sees it too.

Be Mindful Of The Space

Our dancefloor is a communal space, be mindful of the dancers around you. Be kind and respectful to those around you and be mindful of others.

3. Social Spaces

The chill social spaces offer a softer counterpart to the intense energy of the dance floor. This is where old friendships and new connections alike can be nurtured and deepened with conversation, cuddles, and warmth.

Be The Sunshine

Everyone communicates differently, and some find socialising easier than others, but we all seek connection. If you’re up for it, we invite you to keep an eye out for your fellow community members who may not be the first to strike up a conversation and welcome them into yours.

Keep The Space Clean

Our social spaces are meant to feel cozy and welcoming. We’re counting on the community to help us keep them that way. Of course, it’s a party and things happen, but we would greatly appreciate it if we were all mindful about keeping the space clean.
